Combining files to make a multipage document
If you've got several files and you need to combine these you can use the combine function in Adobe Acrobat. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat you can use an online site such as smallpdf.com: https://smallpdf.com/merge-pdf
Perfect Bound
We need a PDF containing multiple single pages in reading/running/print order
You can upload one file which contains the full artwork from the very first page to the last. If the inside front and rear cover are to be blank please include these blank pages inside your PDF.
Blank pages also count when you calculate the quantity of pages, so you'll need to make sure they're in the PDF where they need to appear within your print.
Cover spreads and single page inners
If you decide to create your cover as a double page spread which contains the front, rear, inside front and inside rear then you'll need to ensure your artwork has the correct width spine. You can find our spine calculator here (when you're on the product page scroll down to 'guide to perfect print' section).
Your inner page PDF must always be one PDF which contains all inner pages at the correct size and in running/print order. We don't accept spreads for inner pages, because we want to make sure the reading order is correct.
Saddle stitch
Sometimes it's difficult to know if your artwork is in printers spreads or readers spreads, so we prefer for you to upload one PDF which contains all the pages at the correct size. These need to be in running/print order from front to back, and has to be in multiples of four. We do accept spreads for saddle stitch if they are printer’s spreads as long as clearly marked with page numbers, including any blank pages placed in where they should be.
